Do you know why we're #1 sports fans? Because the home team never loses when we're at the game. Not only do they not lose, but they always manage to win in stunning fashion. We've been at games with buzzer beater shots, grand slams in the bottom of the ninth, and winning goals in stoppage time. We. Are. Lucky.
The Phoenix Suns game we went to last week was no exception. They trailed the first three quarters but then surged in the last half of the fourth to win it. Oh yeah. We won these tickets because Nathan somehow has drawing/contest luck on top of sports luck, but if the Suns knew what was good for them they would offer us free season tickets. Plus, we will gladly sit through their Dancing Dads halftime show over and over. Who needs skanky cheerleaders when you can watch semi-coordinated men dance to age-inappropriate music?
P.S. I have a bad feeling this is what it actually looks like when I do Zumba.
How will the American's defeat Spokane on New Year's Eve without you? Maybe there's a team in Thailand that needs your good luck this holiday season. In the meantime, Phoenix is lucky to have it's #1 fans! Miss you!
